Why is it that when the police gun down another down on their luck citizen, the
media and the police will immediately annouce that the person had some form of
mental illness? They don't announce the persons they've murderered have
diabetes or any other ailment. When the police buttressed by the lapdog media
justify mental illness as reason enough to gun one of us down, an incredible
number of us fall into their crosshairs. In addition, the pchyciatric
community
itself is brutal and liberal with their labeling of humans as "ill"
depending on
the level of conformity being demanded at the moment.

I no longer recognize the police as a freindly force in our communities. From
what I see it is more of an occupying force or at least that's what it seems.
Hey, if it looks like a duck....

I've seen them strut and bully around people--Big Tough Guys. It seems that
fragile women, homeless, starving, disoriented people, youth and the poor are
also big targets for them. These so called professionals with guns turn into
nervous nellies willing to kill in order to save themselves from some imagined
fate worse than death. I say imagined because it rarely the case that the
people they murder could have actually harmed them. If the police had a shred
of courage, wisdom or compassion these tragedies could easily be avoided.

"An injury to one is an injury to all"

Wishing yoou courage and hope,

janice
