It sounds like we need to have a van outside each welfare office,
with a portable computer or two, staffed by ombudspeople. Maybe
some welfare rights organization would pay for it.

The idea being that if we were present anyway, maybe they would
put such services in their waiting rooms. Imagine the experience of
going into a waiting room where you could review opinions about
the worker you were about to see? How about 'scam' helpers to
make sure you get the services you need?
