Hello,
I'm back again after a long hiatus from HPN.
For those who may remember me or otherwise know me from elsewhere: Hey,
it is great to be able to join you here again.
For those here at HPN who don't know me:
My name is Morgan W. Brown. I have been residing back in the Montpelier
Vermont area once I became homeless again in July 1997 and have been
homeless since. I first moved to Montpelier in 1991, but moved to
Barton, VT in 1996 for about a year.
I have been homeless off and on for about 25 years now. However, since
I've been involved with the psychiatric state (or was the psychiatric
state that got involved with me -- whatever), my experiences have
lengthened and been more frequent and often times worse I believe
anyway.
I access the internet via public online access sites in the area and
gain e-mail and have a home page through free web-based e-mail and home
page service providers such as Hotmail and Tripod.
I'm: male; 42 years old though that'll change in a few weeks; divorced,
but in a off and on relationship (mostly on these days) with a woman who
puts up with me most of the time; an activist of sorts or so I've been
told.
I am attempting to get appointed to the board of Vermont Legal Aid at
the present time as someone from the disability and low-income
community.
In my own way, I'm involved in various activites regarding housing,
homelessness, the psychiatric system, human and civil rights, social
justice and other concerns.
I express myself through the mediums of writing and art as best as I can
when I can. In addition, I have many other interest too.
More later, if anyone asks me for more about myself that is.
