The idea for this web site was to bring forth some positive responses to
the Issue of poverty and how to put an end to it and allow people common
dignity and respect. I am a poor person. I live hand to mouth, day to day.
I have experienced having nothing but the clothes on my back. I am open to
suggestion about making this site one of the better ones around. But as
always I am working with a site that does not allow file uploads until I
upgrade the site and pay for the use. I am on welfare and have barely
enough to eat properly, much less pay for and operate a web site. The
machine I have is a 386S/16 with no browser. It's not much, but I work
with what I 've got. The last job I had was during the last provincial
election, I have tried to generate money, right down to sitting on the
street panhandling to try and get some funds together to help me properly
maintain an anti-poverty web site. When all those "respectable" people
walked by me and saw that I was trying to generate money to help get
something going, they looked at me as though I had the plague, yet these
same people empty their wallets to help feed some starving person halfway
around the world, but throw their own children in jail for panhandling or
squeegeeing because it is not politically coreect. And they wonder why
there are so many problems with the youth of today. The children see
through all this hypocritical bullshit and reject it. You people made what
the children are today. If you think I am bitter, yes you are right. Any
good reason not to be..??

I didn't know that there was a poverty site set up for B.C. and I will
include that link on my site. Thank you for informing me about it.
