  Hi every one,
   It is a very sad day when you sit down and realize that the great =
American dream you had fed to you since you were in kindergarten,has all =
been B.S.and then the stark reality smashs you right in the face,no job =
,the woman who swore to love honor and cherish you has filed a domestic =
violence restraining order on you and you can,t go home with out getting =
arrested!
 You are homeless,your so called co workers and friends tell you that =
you should make amends with your wife and grudgingly allow you to sleep =
on their couch,but only for one night,as they hate to get caught in the =
middle of your divorce.
 Sound familar?
 The times are different for some but alot of the homeless are there =
because of the social infra-structure thats set up to cater to single =
mothers,or separated parents because thats the way it is.
 Welfare only helps AFDC recipients or mothers with children,they will =
help a father but only if he has physical and legal custody of his =
children,but even at that rate he must still go out on daily job =
searches.................In order to keep his food stamps coming each =
and every month,and of course the "huge" check from the state AFDC =
program,which by the way wants you to see VOC REHAB today after your job =
search......
 Of course VOC REHAB is another fund sucking org. if I ever saw one,all =
the money they get and barely any one ever gets off the rolls untill =
they are forced to seek Disability benefits which usually take up to two =
years to draw your first check.....Impossible you say...?????I don,t lie =
it,s the truth I am living proof and I will bet that half of the =
homeless persons still homeless could tell you some horror stories that =
would chill your bllod and soul to hear!
 I am not writing this for sympathy,or to whine,hey it happened I am =
half alive and I write to keep my brain from going insane ...Been told =
what brain before,and so I hope that we who are a bit more able to =
express our selves would do just that continue to rant and rave untill =
some body in BIG goverment realize the American people are and have =
spoken.
 I hope that I made some sense I know I some times come across as a hard =
ass, but really I am not or I would not worry about our brothers and =
sisters living on empty promises ........and freezing their butts off as =
well as being hungry!The great American Dream that never was....Can we =
change that for some of these fellow planet inhabitors????
 I think we can if we can get the head cheeses to listen and work with =
us one and all....
 I am waiting for a response back from our Governor Jeanne Shaheen ,I am =
an optomist even though I have been kicked in the face a few times !

 It is a sad day when we all become ophans because the system failed to =
provide us with the bare necessities to get by,or to keep a family =
togather.
 But this appears to be the way of the world too,if tyour husband leaves =
you we can help .
 "Sorry you need to try the shelter down the street", which is actually =
five miles across town.
 If only the suits would listen to the homeless ,and their advocates =
because they are the ones that know what is really going on in the real =
world,not the desk jockies and pen pushers whom think you can fix every =
thing with a couple of smiles and pleasant words,and than four years =
later nothing has been done except our brothers and sisters ranks have =
become smaller because their  deaths and a uncaring government that =
would squander its surplus on war toys rather then on food or shelter =
for their own citizens!
 Remember this;
  "our greatest asset is the american people and we are the american =
people"!

they sought refuge from.  Most older kids fail to find foster homes and =
end up in juvenile detention homes or systems with kids who are felons.  =
These children have committed no crime and in most cases are decent =
kids.  Many choose not to put up with the institutionalized homes and =
run-a-way to the streets.  Once on the streets they fall prey to anyone =
and are often times victims of violence (rape,murder,mugged).  They =
become the next generation of folks who have been thrown away.

  There is lots of research showing a high correlation between being =
homeless and once a ward of the state. I rest my case...=20
