Dear Tom,

I've been reading forwarded articles from Canada mentioning
millions and billions of Canadian dollars in their budget and in
relation to upcoming expenditures for the homelessness disaster,
and I thought to understand the articles better, it would be wise
to know the differential between the U.S. dollars and Canadian
dollars.

On the Web, I went to http://www.xe.net/currency/ and found The
Universal Currency Converter (tm).

Using the converter,
$1,000,000 Canadian dollars (CAD) is equal to
$645,910 U.S. dollars (USD), as of the 12th of November.

Conversely,
$1,000,000 U.S. dollars is equal to
$1,548,200 Canadian dollars in this time frame.

So, to understand news from Canada in the U.S., I think it's
helpful to have this conversion rate and URL.

     Thank you, Flower Child
