Good morning citizens,
Here is an easy to do project. Costs little and might even help keep your
sorry self alive. This petition drive relates back to Monsanto's
end-seed-terminator patent. For those folks unaware Monsanto has
genetically engineered a way that the seed they sell will grow, but,
plants grown from those seed will all be sterile. A nice way to make sure
you get repeat business. The mischief this alone will wreak in the third
world should make anybody fiddling with social scientism, have
nightmares, i.e. what would 800 million starving chinamen do for their
next bowl of rice? I am forwarding this onto a list devoted to disability
issues for another second blessing that Monsanto's patent brings to your
breakfast table. One of the known by products of this bit of
"frankenfood" (sorry I liked that one) is that each bit of it will have
tetracycline residues. If you can't tell I'm allergic to tetracycline.
Nothing like a roll of the food russian roulette wheel with your
cheerio's. "I'll have the puffed rice with an eppy-pen chaser. Has
anybody got a spare liver"?
Tom

URGENT ACTION ALERT! WE NEED 1,000,000 SIGNATURES ON OUR PETITION BY
THANKSGIVING TO SAVE OUR FOOD SUPPLY!

HAVE YOU SIGNED THIS PETITION YET?

CONSUMER RIGHT TO KNOW - ONE MILLION IN 98 CAMPAIGN

PETITION TO SECURE THE MANDATORY LABELING OF ALL GENETICALLY ENGINEERED
FOODS

Submitted to the President of the United States, Congress, USDA and FDA

New substances are being introduced into our foods via a technology
called genetic engineering. A growing number of scientists and
physicians
are voicing concern over the possible health and environmental risks from

these foods. Current laws and policies do not require the food industry
to
label these new genetically engineered foods. Without labels consumers
lose the freedom to choose what they will eat and feed their families.
This petition upholds the right of consumers to make informed choices.

As a citizen of the United States of America, I strongly urge the passage
of legislation and policies to mandate the clear and accurate labeling of
all foods derived from, processed with, containing or consisting of
genetically engineered organisms before they are released into any and
all commercial markets.

TO SIGN JUST SEND THE FOLLOWING MESSAGE TO <ge-mail@lofthouse.com> NOW:

"Add my name to the Consumer Right to Know Petition for the mandatory
labeling of genetically engineered foods."

MAKE SURE TO INCLUDE YOUR NAME, ADDRESS AND DATE AND SEND IT OFF TO:
