1999 Homeless Conference Announcement  <JULY 14 to 17, 1999>

The National Alliance to End Homelessness Annual Conference, The End of
Homelessness: Blueprint for the New Millennium will be held July 14-17, 1999,
with added pre-conference and post-conference activities on the 14th and 17th,
in Washington, D.C., at the Capital Hilton Hotel.

This forum for program re-examination and idea development offers: top of the
line keynote speakers, training institutes, workshops, counterpart sessions,
Washington D.C. site visits to local service providers, and more.

Invited keynote speakers include: Andrew Cuomo, Secretary, Department of Housing
and Urban Development, Rodney Carroll, Vice President, Welfare to Work
Partnership, and Stephen Coyle, Chief Executive Officer, AFL-CIO Housing
Investment Trust.

Plan to explore the wide range of diverse topics critical to our pursuit of
ending homelessness, including: housing development, jobs and the Labor
Department, public education, data collection systems, corporate development,
executive director training, shelter plus care, foster care and youth, prisons,
and the list goes on.
