(MIAMI) -- A homeless man dies in police custody and the Miami-Dade medical
examiner is still trying to determine how, a week later. Lewis Rivera was
pepper-sprayed by two Miami Police officers who were trying to remove him
from in front of a business last week.

One hour later he was dead at police headquarters.

Doctors say the 40-year-old man was NOT beaten... did NOT have drugs in his
body... and did NOT suffer a stroke. Likewise, there is nothing to suggest
an allergic reaction to the pepper spray.

Disciplinary action against the two officers is pending the outcome of the
