Is there anyway of getting a copy of the suit. We have a mayor here in
Victoria that wants to licence panhandlers and force them from the streets
because they are an eyesore to Victoria's reputation as a vacation center.
The businesses complain that the panhandlers are scaring away potential
tourist dollars.
 One of the bylaws was no person shall sit, stand, lay or otherwise block
the sidewalk, and if you had any gear it was confiscated as being
"chattels".
 I would like to find a way of blocking any move to discriminate against
panhandlers and the homeless population of Victoria.

I will try to find the articles in the Victoria Times-Colonist with
regards to this issue.
