Community Voice Mail was "invented" here in Seattle, and I used to work
for the Fremont Public Association that oversees it. Yeah, yeah, it all
sounds great, but...yes, unfortunately there is a but.

Your voice mail messages were monitored by Nazis. If you received even
one message from a friend or even your dying mother, your voice mail
privilege was taken away immediately.

So, you people in Chicago, be VERY careful. NEVER give out your voice
mail number to your dying mother, and especially your friends. If you
do, you are ABUSING this wonderful program run by wonderful people who
know what's best for you.

For the whole damn pie,
Judy O

P.S. If you are a U.S. Veteran, you may have a Veteran's organization
nearby that offers a phone number or voice mail
