The application kit for the welfare-to-work housing voucher
program is now available on HUD's web site. A link to the
application kit may be accessed through HUD's home page for
Public and Indian Housing: http://www.hud.gov/pih/pih.html.
It may be downloaded as a 66-page .pdf file. Alternatively,
it may be ordered from the PIH Information and Resource
Center at 1-800-955-2232.

Please spread the word on the availability of the
application kit to anyone you may have been working with in
connection with a welfare-to-work housing voucher

The updated version of the Center's overview paper on the
welfare-to-work housing voucher program (previously sent
around as a .pdf file) is now available on our web site at:
http://www.cbpp.org/12-2-98hous.htm. Sorry for the delay in
posting. As indicated in the prior message, this paper is most
useful as an organizing tool to help acquaint people with the
program. In preparing applications, please refer directly to HUD's
application kit and Notice of Funding Availability (included
in the application kit).
