     Dear Folks,

     I thought someone out there might be interested in the following job
     opening:

     Position:  Research Assistant

     Education and experience:  Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Statistics,
     Mathematics, or Computer Science preferred.

     Job Responsibilities:  The candidate will provide general support for
     project staff, database maintenance, and file maintenance.  Ability to
     work independently, but also function as part of a team.  Work on
     proposal teams and a variety of cross contract tasks.

     Skills Prerequisites:  Strong quantitative skills, from prior work
     experience or several courses in statistics, econometrics, and
     mathematics.  Some familiarity with SAS, Stata, or other statistical
     programming packages desired.  Interest in welfare policy.
