That was not a question. That was an attack.
I did protest it. Many people consider the most effective way to deal
with unfair attacks is to ignore them. I do not agree. It is unfair
to innocent bystanders to let incorrect information or insinuations
stand unchallenged.
However, there is no way to satisfactorily prove a negative. I
thought that I made the facts clear, but you are not satisfied. I can
only suggest: 1) That you contact the originator of the post I
forwarded. 2) That you check me out -- you can follow the links from
my webpage http://www.speakeasy.org/~anitra to a large number of my
activities and writing, enough to get an idea for yourself of who I am
and what I advocate.

You are far more cynical than I; I usually take a "call for
contributions" at face value unless it includes a "registration fee"
or other request for money, or comes from Woodside Literary Agency or
another group I've been previously warned about (because they will end
up asking for money).
I'm a writer and I know a lot of writers -- letting each other know
about places that are asking for writing is a standard practice.
Just as there are special experiences and emotions shared among those
who have been homeless, making it worthwhile to have a
discussion/support group among ourselves, so there are also special
experiences and emotions shared among women active in grassroots
movements -- and I am glad to find a way that we can share discussion
of these among ourselves. I am sure that we will share the results
with the wider community, including men. Unless it's a really *good*
discovery, like chocolate. I really think we should have kept
chocolate to ourselves in the first place.

Do you agree with the paranoia of those who believe that it is wrong
for us homeless and formerly homeless people to be off talking by
ourselves?

I do hope so.

I do try.
