News Announcement for Immediate release:
New Iberia, Louisiana -- In their continued growth in advocacy and justice
for the Homeless and Chronic Poverty Populations, I CAN! America announced
another addition to its staff of hands on advocates today. The new
addition is Patrick Joseph Covington and will be the fifth Covington to
join the firm effective at 10:49 AM.
Although there will be an extensive training and internship period under
the tutelage of H. C. Sonny Covington, founder of I CAN! America and his
Senior Partner and Human Resource Manager, Renee DeCourt Covington, it is
expected that the newest member of the firm will also rise to it highest
ranks
in future assignments.
This announcement was stated as "One of my finest days" by Mr. Covington as
the new staff member was introduced to the firms previous partners. This
will be the 5th Covington to join the intern-advocacy program efforts and
to
develop talents and experience through living out assignments in the midst
of hands on work. Although proud of the new addition, Mr. Covington stated
that it would be "unlikely that additional staff members would be developed
for some time as the home office of I CAN America is now full and a major
renovation would be required for additional personnel." He continued, "For
the future, we will have to rely on growth from the branch offices and from
other partners" to which the manager of the human resource department
confirmed "AMEN."

not projects.
Renee DeCourt Covington of the human resource department is now doing well
and
has scheduled a couple of weeks vacation for personal strategic planning
for 1998-1999.
