Subject: Homeless group gets another million

MIAMI BEACH, Fla., Feb. 13 (UPI) -- A Miami Beach, Fla., couple has
donated a third million dollars to Miami-Dade County's Community
Partnership for the Homeless.
In the aftermath of a $2 million donation last year they say they
learned just how important it was and how much it was needed. So this
week, Dwane and Inez Andreas donated another $1 million.
Andreas is chairman of Archer Daniels Midland Co. in Illinois, one of
the world's largest food producers. Inez Andreas resigned last year as a
top official for Barry University in Miami.
Inez Andreas says, ``After being in the food business, and traveling
round the world for so many years, you see where the need is. And you
respond to that need.''
Community Partnership builds and operates homeless shelters in Miami-
Dade County.
The Andreases moved to Coral Gables, Fla., in 1947 and now live in
Miami Beach. They also have a home in Decatur, Ill., and one in New York
