INTERFAITH ACTION FOR PEACE
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 11 @ 12:00 NOON
LAFAYETTE PARK, WHITE HOUSE
Join Christian, Jewish, and Muslim clergy and concerned citizens in cities
across the nation to speak out against the dangerous and misguided U.S.
threat to bomb Iraq.
CALL-IN DAY * THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 12
Tell the President: Don't Bomb Iraq!
202.456.1111
(1) DROPPING MORE BOMBS WON'T STOP SADDAM HUSSEIN. It didn't solve the
problem in 1991 and now it runs the risk of escalating into a region-side
conflict with biological and nuclear weapons.
(2) BOMBING IRAQ WOULD KILL EVEN MORE INNOCENT PEOPLE. The people of Iraq
have no control over Saddam Hussein's actions. Why punish them?
(3) AMERICANS DESERVE A BETTER POLICY. There is no quick or "easy" solution
to the problems in Iraq. Only sustained diplomacy can address the issues.
