A Community Gathering Challenging Corporate Rule
Carnegie Center, Main and Hastings

Saturday, February 7th, 11am to 6pm

A day-long series of workshops and discussions by members of the East
Vancouver community.  Morning workshops include: "Housing, Squatting and
Guerilla Gardening,"  "Update on Chiapas" and "Alternative Health Options:
A Critical Look at the Medical Industry". Afternoon workshops: "Police
Brutality in the Downtown Eastside", "What is the MAI?" and the "Politics
of Hemp". Childcare is available and food will be served. The Carnegie
Center is wheelchair accessible.

Friday, February 27th (new date!), 10am to 5pm
SFU Downtown Campus, 515 West Hastings

A day-long teach-in, speak-out and direct action. Critical and creative
workshops, discussion and panels on the following topics: youth
unemployment and welfare, student loans and debt, dropping out, free
skools and alternative education, the Multilateral Agreement on
Investment (MAI), the corporatization of education, women and the
university, history of radical youth and student activism, squatting and
cheap housing, more ...

Everyone is welcome to attend and participate. Childcare is available and
food will be served. The site is wheelchair accessible. Don't let school
