     SEATTLE CITY COUNCIL ANNOUNCES SECOND WTO FORUM [4PM Tues 14 Dec]

In a continuation of last week's public forum to hear testimony relating to
the WTO, The Seattle City Council will again be taking public comment on
Tuesday, December 14, 1999.

In a continuation of last week's public forum to hear testimony relating to
the WTO, The Seattle City Council will again be taking public comment on
Tuesday, December 14, 1999.  The hearing is scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.
and will take place at the Seattle Center Pavilion, located on the
southwest portion of the Seattle Center campus between Key Arena and the
Flag Pavilion. Councilmember Jim Compton will moderate the forum.

Individuals wishing to comment may begin signing up to speak  at 3:30 p.m.
Citizens who testified at the first forum on Wednesday, December 8th and
would like to comment at this forum are encouraged to allow others who have
not yet testified in front of the Council to speak first. Written comments,
video, or audio tape submissions will be reviewed at a later date.

Parking near the Seattle Center may be limited so public transportation is
encouraged. Seattle Center has 15 bus routes with frequent connections to
Downtown and several neighborhoods. For exact route and schedule
information, call Metro at 553-3000. Seattle Center pay parking lots are
located at the Mercer Street Garage and the 5th Avenue lot. The Seattle
Center Monorail also provides service between Seattle Center and Westlake
Cente r. Trains depart from each station every 15 minutes during regular
hours of operation of 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
