" A spokeswoman for the Downtown Seattle Association said damages to
some 2,500 city merchants and property owners from this weeks
disturbances will be in the millions range. And association Marketing
Director Lucinda Payne added: Thats just the physical damage: the broken
display windows, spot looting, and the horrific graffiti."

Many Seattle businesses that supported the WTO on November 28th, and
regarded the Seattle PD as their defenders, seem to have a different
attitude on December 2nd.

ABC also has a good sidebar on what the WTO protestors are objecting to.
