Bonnie Briggs
Hi Terry,
Bonnie here. I live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Our "illustrious"
Provincial Government has just brought in a Welfare Reform Bill that
includes Workfare. Anti-poverty groups have been fighting this for a
number of years. Workfare has come after Welfare rates have been cut
21.6%. Rates for a single employable person went from $663.00 to
$520.00/month. Life for poor, homeless, and Welfare people is nothing
but Hell in Ontario. We can all thank "our wonderful Uncle Mike". What
can we do to fight Workfare?
Bonnie
