Thank you, Liberty! I have always loved that song, and I could never
make out all the words. Now I'm motivated to go back to trying to
learn to sing!

One of the things I liked about the old Street Mail list was people
posting song lyrics. I want to ask everybody to feel free to post
songs here, too -- if anyone doesn't like them, delete 'em.

As soon as we have some glitches worked out on my friend Ruth's
computer, she's going to email me the words to the songs she brought
to the Bread Is Not Enough demonstration. She wrote a version of
Bread and Roses for the homeless, and I've created a background
graphic for it, and I'm champing at the bit to get it loaded on
Singing Bears. She also wrote an updated version of The Soup Song,
written during the Depression -- and it needed tragically little
updating.

Tom, could you send me a copy of your "Bourgeois Blues" song? I wiped
a lot of old mail when I needed space for the poetry book project. I
would like to post your song on Singing Bears, if it's okay with you.

Did you think of the Red Tape song during your proposal review, Tom?
I thought of it, reading your report. I've got that posted at
http://members.tripod.com/~AmusedMuse/redtape.html with music and
graphics, if you want to check it out.

Libety, I'll be grateful for any songs you want to post. I've also
found that music has a strong effect on me -- it can energize me, even
in a depression.
