Actually despite some variations in their individual approaches both of
these guys represent the extreme end of what is occurring (to a greater or
lesser degree) in most large urban centers in the United States. (In Canada
it is nowhere near as extreme as yet but the public attitudes supporting
such measures being implemented here have been planted and are growing
well). The behavior of these two men also illustrates the essential
sameness of the two major political parties in the United States (Brown
being a Democrat; Guiliani a Republican).
