Interagency Council on the Homeless Seeks Regional Coordinators

The Interagency Council on the Homeless has recently announced that it
is seeking to hire ten Regional Interagency Homeless Coordinators who
will provide coordination and liaison with state and local governments
as well as federal agencies in their collective efforts to combat
homelessness. The coordinators would each be located in one of HUD's
regional offices and would convene regional meetings of federal agencies
that belong to the Council, and work with state, local and nonprofit
entities to provide information about and coordination with federal
efforts.

The deadline for receipt of applications and supporting documents is the
close of business on September 25, 2002.
