Current Homeless Job Openings
1.  MSW/Program Director
2.  MSW/Clinical Supervisor

The Coalition for the Homeless advocates for and provides direct services to
over 3,500 men, women and children through a mobile feeding program, crisis
intervention, job training, and permanent housing.  Presently, the Coalition has
two full-time, direct service positions available (both require MSW):

Program Director, Client Advocacy Program
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Experienced MSW will assist disabled/mentally ill homeless obtain & maintain
shelter/housing and benefits.  Will conduct assessments, visit shelters, provide
outreach and follow-up services and referrals, supervise one caseworker, and
work with legal counsel to secure benefits/services.  Admin/supv exp req'd; exp
with homeless/mentally ill preferred;  Spanish proficiency preferred.

Clinical Supervisor, First Step Program

Experienced  MSW will provide day-to-day clinical supv & guidance to all program
staff to ensure effective case management in an established job readiness
program for formerly homeless women.  Will also provide counseling & referral
services to participants, coordinate intake activities and mentor program,
collaborate with program advisory board & assist in marketing.  Mental health
counseling and clinical supervisory experience req'd; prior work with homeless,
admin, and job training/readiness program experience preferred.

Candidates for both positions must be creative, flexible, energetic, and able to
