An idea who's time never came?

A travel agent offering people the chance to spend their holiday homeless in
Paris hasn't had a booking in eight months.

Dutch travel agent Kamstra Travel from Eemshaven offered travelers the chance to
live in a box under the bridges of Paris.

It expected companies to use the 290 ($435.00) five-day trips as a
team-building exercise.

Company director Bart Janssens says the idea came from his experience living
homeless in Paris for two weeks.

The company had planned to extend the trips to London, but says it will probably
drop the offer from next year's brochure.

According to Dagblad van het noorden, company officials were interviewed by over
300 newspapers and radio and TV stations after the trip launched last year.

Mr Janssens says he thinks companies found the idea of making employees
temporarily homeless was "too extreme".
