"This has nothing to do with Jesus," Sharpton said at his Harlem
headquarters. "This has something to do with censorship."

Sharpton said Giuliani's "decency standards" crusade - and holy war with
the museum and Renee Cox, the photographer who depicted herself as a naked
Christ figure in "Yo Mama's Last Supper" - is much ado about nothing.

"If Jesus was here today, he would not be worried about art pieces at the
Brooklyn Museum," he said.

"He'd be worried about children going to school and not learning . . . and
the homeless that can't find shelter."

The mayor's office did not comment.

Meanwhile, bigger crowds than normal visited the museum in the wake of the
publicity over Cox's art, and most brushed off Giuliani's claims the photo
is distasteful.

"I believe art should have no boundaries," said Selma Mhaoud, 25, of Jersey
