Subject: OCAP goes to Queen's Park, June 15

On June 15 Ontario Coalition Against Poverty will be holding
a demonstration at Queen's Park with a demand to address the
Ontario Legislature.

They are asking to speak on the social cleansing laws of the
Safe Streets Act, the cancelling of affordable housing, the
21.6 % welfare cut and the pro-landlord Tenant Protection Act
and other issues facing low income and poor people in Ontario.

The march starts at 12 p.m. at Alan Grdens, Sherbourne and
Carleton, and will proceed along Carleton-College St to
Queen's Park.

OCAP needs money for food, buses and supplies. And we also
need first aid kits, swim goggles, bandanas, bottles of water
with squirt tops, 2 cell phones, a very large sound system,
sureties.

For more information call OCAP at 416-925-6939
