FYI: Part two of the three part series on the Internet, written exclusively
by yours truly for "The Independent", is now available online for anyone

~~~Hosted at:
"The Independent" is a Vermont publication for seniors and people with
disabilities.
Part three -- "Tooling the Web: Using the Internet to Get There from here"
-- will be published in the hard copy edition due out before the holidays.
In this series final installment I offer a proposal for establishing
two-fold multi-level statewide free in-depth training programs in computers
and the Internet. As a part of their training, trainees would tutor people
in the community in the basics of using computers and the Internet free of
charge to people seeking such tutoring and mentoring.
In that same edition of "The Independent" there will be coverage on housing
and homeless matters. Plus there will be more on housing and homelessness in
their February edition too.
For sample copies, subscription (cost) information or for back issues of
"The Independent" contact:
Deborah Lisi-Baker, Editor, The Independent: lisi@together.net
Deborah is also the Executive Director of VCIL.
In addition, "Wandering the Internet" was recently reprinted with permission
in the November/December edition of Wyoming Winds and is available online
there as well:
