I've been publishing this as a two-sided, letter sized newsletter since
June last year. It represents an effort to bring forward in a small way the
human rights issues involved in current 'mental health' policy and
practice, along with other matters of concern or interest to Psychiatric

ISSUE #9 features an update on 'mental health' reform (deform?) in Ontario
- psychiatrized persons are are now facing the prospect of losing all
rights of ordinary citizens through the introduction of 'Brian's Law.'
Issue #9 also contains a review of the play 'Angels of 999 Queen Street
West' (based upon the newly published book (by Oxford University
Press) 'Remembrance of Patients Past: Patient Life in the Toronto Hospital
for the Insane 1870-1940' by Geoffrey Reaume, Ph.D).

This edition and back issues are available in PDF format on the Web at
