Job Announcement

Organize! Ohio (O!O), a statewide support system for community organizing,
seeks a full-time Organizer to assist with all aspects of the program.

The mission of Organize! Ohio is to advance and encourage community
organizing in the state of Ohio.  O!O provides training, works to increase
communication, and advocate for resources to strengthen local organizing
efforts around the state.  O!O also provides an avenue for local organizing
groups to act on a statewide level on policy issues of common interest.
There are currently over 75 O!O organization and individual members who are
involved in organizing around social, economic and environmental justice

Responsibilities will include organizing regional and statewide gatherings,
running training workshops, statewide campaigns and volunteer programs as
well as fundraising, media and organizational communications.  Previous
organizing, training and/or campaign experience a plus.  People of Color are
encouraged to apply.

40 hours/week.  Salary and full benefits (health, eye, dental, and 403(b))
